Draw slasher – I (Artur) won’t write much about it, as there’s not that many features in the game.
The game isn’t big, but with a high quality: the sound, drawn graphics and minimal, but at the same time cool gameplay. The game has several modes with no difference, to my opinion, and only 3 enemy units. However, despite such poor realization, there are many positive reviews on the game as a some kind of a quality time-killer.
The game is all about lining the pathway of the warrior, meaning – he follows your finger. You can draw any pathway and sometimes you might even think that, following it, he flies up and twists, but actually the can only move in a straight line.
Anyway, seeing a gameplay like that I came up with plenty of ideas, but quite recently found out that all of them were already realized (they made a new PSVita version). To sum up, just watch the video and you’ll get the picture of what I had in mind.

It's Been Awhile! - GDDs
Hello! It's been awhile since my last post. Sorry about that! So, I've been working on Valchion here and there (as well as other things, as always), and I really would like to finish it. Something I've found particularly useful is a Game Design Document.
To me, a GDD is basically a plan for how a game is supposed to function, and how it works. Basically, you write out a GDD to explain what the gameplay's like, or what the plot revolves around, and what elements you plan to add and how to do so. Basically, GDD is a general document detailing the overall design of the game. Check out this Wikipedia link for more specific information on what a GDD is.
Apart from GDDs, I recently also purchased a cheap little art drawing tablet, so I've also worked on "leveling-up" my art skills. Anyway, thanks for reading!
What's a Game Design Document (or GDD)?
Why is a GDD helpful?
A GDD is helpful because it helps you out with two things.
1) It reminds you of what the game is supposed to be.
Without a GDD, it can be difficult to keep straight exactly what the original idea behind your game was. For example, without a GDD, you may not be able to remember how many zones there were supposed to be in the game, or what the general size and structure of the game was like. The other thing a GDD does is:
2) Keep you from adding things that don't line up with that original vision.
It's easy to get distracted while developing a longer-term title, and find that you stumbled upon yet another cool, new gameplay element, or an idea for another level that works better than the ones you have currently. The GDD helps you to stick to the ideas you have down already, rather than chase new features and content. Now, there's nothing wrong with finding a better way to implement a feature, or even to replace major sections of the game based on ideas and the general feel of the gameplay. However, the GDD should reflect the current goal of the game. If you have ideas and "updates" that you want to apply to the game, then you should update the GDD accordingly, so that you don't get distracted, and can really focus on pre-determined aspects of the game.
The short of it is, I'm personally finding it a lot easier to work on Valchion when I have a GDD to guide me. With the document, I can get an idea of which zones lead to which other ones, and what pre-requisites there are to access zones (i.e. if you need a certain item). This helps to make the flow between areas easier to understand and build the game world around.

Applied Social [Media] Magic #Book - Work Title and Draft Table of Contents
I'm keep on writing my book, no time at all and I'm keep on trying to manage properly with all tasks.
Work title is Applied Social [Media] Magic. Title is from my presentation at #flashgamm conference, still open for discussion ^)

PC Gaming #1
First of all Happy New Year my friends :)
I've realized that I have no time and chance to play much and write articles weekly or even one in several weeks. I've decided to restart numeration and invite gamers to write guest posts. Anybody?
Last Year was to few of games played to make yearly chart. Games in reviews and previous charts can be found here tagged/labeled #PC.
Hope to have enough PC game reviews by the end of the year and maybe some console playing/reviewing started as mobile game topics appeared last year.
Let's clean up with game reviews in queue and mark up closest plans:
1. I've played for a while Far Cry 3 that bought on steam with discount, was impressed with intro on engine, visuals level and bored with harvesting mission, uninstalled %)
2. Call of Duty Black Ops 2 campaign is finally finished , visuals are depressing after Far Cry and gameplay is rich a lot of new for me. It was so long ago so I guess no need for details, If anybody interested just ask and I'll write more about it. Hard rock style clip after titles is just great idea and nice funny implemented.
3. Witcher 2 extended edition was waiting for his turn for a half a Year or even more. I was surprised with intro CG cinematic and much more I was surprised with the fact that the game of 3rd person RPG fantasy genre that I'm not a fan at all kept me playing for 3 hours with a story. I've realized that first person fighting like this can make one dizzy so let it be 3rd person view.
And now the time for plans. I plan to play more Witcher 2 and then
4. Call of Duty Ghosts and Battlefield 4 campaigns are both completed and had a lot of to write about and it's going to be a separate article. Spoiler It's the first part of CoD that looks better then BF for me, thanks to new engine, how do You think?
5. Bioshock Infinite was on Holiday sale on Steam and it's next to play after Witcher.
6. Need for Speed Rivals is next: I play every 3rd game with pursuits and my toplay list is empty once for ages %)
7. What's next to play on PC Watch Dogs, GTA 5 (not yet avail for PC), Prototype 2, please suggest good games, looks like I missing something :)
